As the Fourth of July approaches, residents of San Diego County should prepare for various government office closures. On Friday, July 4, all County offices, including family resource centers, library branches, and animal shelters, will be closed in observance of the holiday. Normal business operations will resume on Monday, July 7th.

However, it’s important to note that the Department of Parks and Recreation’s reservation phone line will not be staffed during the holiday.
Health Clinics Closed on July 4th
In addition to government offices, all County public health clinics will also not be open on Independence Day, emphasizing the importance of planning ahead for any health-related needs you may have before the holiday.
