Residents of San Diego County, time is of the essence! The special general election for the First Supervisorial District concludes this Tuesday, July 1. This is your final opportunity to influence the direction of your community by casting your vote. Early voting is available until Monday, June 30, at designated vote centers across the district.
Vote Centers and Ballot Boxes: Your Voting Options
Voters can visit any of the seven vote centers from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 30, and on July 1, a total of 13 vote centers will open their doors from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. It's critical to note that some locations have changed since April’s primary, so be sure to check sdvote.com for updated information.
Who Can Vote and Registration Deadlines
This election serves to fill a vacancy until January 2029, and only those residing in the district can vote. If you're unsure of your district affiliation, you can easily verify it on the official website. Additionally, if you're not yet registered, you can register conditionally at any vote center or the Registrar’s office, even up to July 1. This gives many the chance to make their voice heard.

Voting has evolved! Vote centers now provide numerous services similar to polling places, allowing voters to cast ballots, receive guidance in multiple languages, and even update their voter registration smoothly. Once you finalize your choices using a touch screen ballot marking device, you can print your ballot, ensuring your votes are accurately recorded.
