Celebrating Independence Day in San Antonio
As the Fourth of July approaches, San Antonio is gearing up for a spirited celebration filled with fireworks, BBQs, and festive activities for all ages. The San Antonio Parks Foundation, in partnership with the city and H-E-B, will host the main event at Woodlawn Lake Park on July 4th, featuring a day packed with fun.
Fireworks and Family Fun at Woodlawn
Starting the day at 8 a.m., families are invited to participate in free fitness activities, including water aerobics and Zumba. As the sun rises higher, the park will come alive with carnival rides, games, and an impressive fireworks display at 9 p.m. The day will also feature local food vendors offering a taste of San Antonio’s best, like turkey legs, tacos, and delicious BBQ.
